A two-year battle with pancreatic cancer ended last night for popular Actor Patrick Swayze. The 57-year old star was at home with his family in Los Angeles.The Texas-born actor was voted "Sexiest Man Alive" by People Magazine in 1991. He starred in a long list of films in his 30-year career. My two personal favorites were "Roadhouse" and "Ghost".
He was a good guy who died with grace.

I was an avid fan of his, and he was often in my thoughts.. times like that it must have been hard to be a celebrity.

Well it has to be said that sexy men were pretty thin on the ground in 1991. I liked him though.
My whole family enjoyed watching him. My little one of course cut her pre-teen teeth on Dirty Dancing. I though, LOVED him in Roadhouse. The movie, not so much. The bedroom scene in the movie? VERY much.
