I am going to kayak to the island today & enjoy the freedom so many have fought to allow me.

Positive thoughts will be sent your way as well, dear maxie.

Celebrate safely my dear puppy, don't get your paws burned by any fireworks.

Happy 4th to you, too! I will raise a small glass of Harvey's Bristol Cream later on in honor of the occasion.

Was going to write about the Bicentennial and going to see the Tall Ships in NY harbor, and did a Google search to see if I could find a picture of my Tall Ships T shirt (which is too ratty to photograph) when what did I see but my last year's 4th post about - yeah, Tall Ships, T shirt, etc. So back to the drawing board! Thank goodness for that NYPL Digital Gallery.

Have an excellent weekend!

Thank you all! Debbie, still kayaking. What a fun way to keep in shape. Ship shape. We've missed you around here. :)

Sheila, for once tea would be appropriate. Cheers. Just this once. :)

Lidian, I know what a tall ship is. Bet you didn't think I did!
